Desperate Housewifes

Dresscode: White expensive designer clothes, a chocolate tan and lots of I-married-a-rich-guy-jewelry.

What is the perfect life? We all walks around and wonders - from the age of 3 years old we got the question; "What do you wanna be when you grow up?" We have since then asked the question to ourself and being asked about this important question…. a lot! It was an important question. It is an important question. But we all got older and the question changed shape - "What kind of person do you wanna be?", was suddenly even more important than the first question.

Well, i've spend 1,5 week at the island, Il de Re. If I should put this small island in a box it would be in the same box as Hornbæk, Skagen, Hellerup og Rungsted in the summer period. It defiantly has a lot of charm, but it is not difficult to see which kind of people who comes here every summer. Which leads me to the question about which kind of person we wanna be …. when we grow up.
Sailor shoes, espadrilles, kaki pants, polo shirts, designer clothes and a lot of sparkling jewelry - is just some of the keywords which belongs to this place. Everybody has this perfect beach house, boat/ship/yacht , car, kids (!!) and a big engagement ring on their finger. Everyday is a "let's get to getter - day" - which I usually love - but here it's literally everyday! Every lunch is a at someones perfect beach house, every afternoon is at the beach with perfect friends and perfect kids, every night is a night out with friends and wine - while their beloved kids (!!) are home …. sleeping. Bum.

Well, my point is that it all sounds like this perfect life, whit good friends and family - but still a life where you have time to go out, have fun ect.
- And YES, it IS fun! It IS perfect!  But is it enough? When was it the people who asked the questions who become the important part of the question, and not the answer? Why do we suddenly think about how other people look at us instead of ourself?

So I can't help wonder …. why if it is all just a facade?

Enfin, les PHOTOS!

Ma chambre!
I love my room, it's so sweet and beautiful.
Big windows with the greatest view and a little loft for my bed.

Lyon
A old, beautiful city - with a lot of great shopping places, rivers and a little french cafés.
I absolutely love the city and it's here I spend most of my leisure.

I found a danish pub, they served Carlsberg!

BLONDE BABE

//Fashionshots
Angela Lindvall by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

I don't know if it's because I'm blonde or just because I'm a girl -
not looking french, that the boys are going wild when I'm near.
Today when I was in Lyon city I was asked out for a cup of coffee 3 times!! Jesus.
And they all asked about my haircolor - "Is that your natural haircolor?" ... OMG.
I met this guy, David - who lives in Lyon. He asked me where I was going and then he started talking and walked me around to see places. It was nice, but then he was a little bit creepy - he kept picking his nose! BVADR!
But it has been a good day, it was nice to look around in the centrum of Lyon.
I actually wanted to post some photos that I took earlier today, but it has been raining all day - so I don't find them cool enough for my blog.  Miav Miav Miav ...

TOMORROW muffins, I'll post some photos of everything! The house, my room ect.
OMG, you need to see it all!

Miss you, love you, bisous bisous!!

La ville des fleurs

The town where I live - Saint Genis Laval is called La ville des fleurs!
It's a very beautiful town, just outside Lyon - so even though it's in the city it's quiet and nice. It's not pure city life, which I love. I can see the big garden from my window and not far away from my house is the river called Rhône.

I'm sorry that I have not been written in English today, but it went a little fast!

Bisous, Mia

Ps. I'll post some photos later, I just don't have the time to do it now. xx

AU REVOIR

/ffffound

My last day in Denmark. Time to say goodbye - or as now, Au revoir!
It has been a very weird day. I've been sad, nervous, scared, happy, excited and then sad again.
One of the good things about moving to Lyon, is that I know it'll be good for me, i know that it'll be a good experience and I know that this is exactly what I need right now.
The sad thing about leaving is to leave all my dear friends and family behind.

It has been a sad day ..
But I'm really excited about tomorrow so I'll try to get some sleep,
going to be at the airport about 11 AM.
This was just a short update, I'm looking forward to write all my thoughts down as soon as my new life in Lyon starts.

Goodnight xx
